    • Nose
Fruity sweetness, musty, behind that a wall of smoke, bitter burned wood, grassy bitterness (peat), foulness (fruits), with water: more from the sherrysweetness
    • Taste
Red fruit and berrys, acidity from citrus fruits, shoe polish, a lot of smoke, pungent mustard, with water: more influence from the sherry, sweetness , vanilla
    • Finish
a whole lot of smoke, peat, rather short and bitter, after a while a hint of mint freshness

subtle smoke with distinct sherry and red fruits.

Sweetness (a bit of brown sugar), slight hint of vanilla; clear sherry note. Red fruits (berries, ripe cherries), very light and subtle (peat) smoke. Some spices (tend to stay in the background). Milk chocolate, sweet dates (if it stands a little longer). Clear alcohol bite, but which is nevertheless well integrated. Clearly fruity with drops of water, with apricots. Slightly floral note and some wet hay.
    • Taste
      85 85
strong start, spicy. Clear sherry note. The spice wears off and sweetness comes through (milk chocolate again). Mix of dried and cooked fruits.
With drops of water, a subtle note of peat smoke that changes into a wet ash note. At the same time, it becomes creamy and oily through water.
    • Finish
      85 85
long ash burnt with smoke that remains on the tongue. Gets drier out the back. Very easily an oak aroma.

More like a Ledaig nose than Kilchoman. Kinda stinky. Sweet combination of swiss cheese and burned rubber. Very delicate peat smoke. Salty smoked meat. Underlined by intense alcohol.

Powerful start. Smoke being more dominant than in the nose. Sweet, honeyed taste. Takes a while until the sherry flavors are kicking in and get past the smokiness.

Smokiness lingering on, staying malty sweet till the end.

Very nice dram. Can be enjoyed neat very well. However some drops of water will open it and held the sherry aromas get to your nose.

The sherry barrel was rather restrained, the delicious distillery taste comes out well but also a bit associated with his youth.
    • Nose
foul sweet smoke, at first you can smell alcohol, malt, summer hayloft, sunflower seeds, some mild cheese, water opens, more smoke burned and mineral, soft liquorice, car tires
    • Taste
Considerably intense, requires water, smoky and slightly aftertaste in the aftertaste
    • Finish
again a strong malt sweetness, lemon concentrate, then rather quickly flown, however, he comes back again smoky again
