On the nose it is clearly Sherry (well I know the color speaks for itself). But not just any aggressive Sherry, there's this little something classy. We have notes of prunes / plums accompanied by nuts and fruity coffee. The alcohol is felt at times just like the spices and slightly sulphurous notes. A beautiful complexity.

Frank attack but without aggressiveness, I would say that this alcohol is pleasant enough in the mouth. A generally dry mouth on notes of plums, coffee and spices. We still find these sulfur notes typical of big Sherry.

Beautiful length on spicy notes very light, coffee and then on the vanilla woody. A distant bitterness is felt after a few moments.

Hach, I love the single Casks from Glendronach! This sherry-wood combination is just wonderful! This time it is not a sherry wall. Of course - you have an intense, sherrylastiger only whisky with clear wood in the nose. But more comes through immediately, which is not self-evident. Often the barrel rules with an iron hand. Now comes blood orange, red apple and cinnamon. Coffee and dark chocolate is also there .... and a strong-graded note does not hide. The remnants of a cherry harvest, which have fallen to the ground and there are muddy and gammlig, combine with the earth and exude a fascinating fragrance. There is also a bit of sulfur here, but not much. The nose is extremely complex, has tart and tasty elements. Now I have a subtle, herbal note, which is sometimes cheesy. Cheese Plum skewers. Alcohol is not much, but the intensity reveals that it is strong. The oak is always there, but does not seem locked, aloof and intolerant to other flavors, but combines wonderfully with the fruits. Water : Water strengthens the herbs. A whole mix - rosemary, thyme, cumin, turmeric. Great! The oak continues in the background.

Full, sparkling and complex. Wood is there, but not dominant. Fruity, dark and heavy, but also fresh. Blood orange again. Orange peel, espresso, cherry. The alcohol can be felt, but it brings so many flavors with it that's okay. The second sip is not so stormy, yet intense. Creamy and fruity, it fills the whole mouth. Sweet apple alternates with prune, both are crushed to mush and boiled. Add herbs, rosemary. Water : With water does not change much on the palate, some leather comes to it.

Subtle bitter, but the fruit remains very long. It is getting warmer and longer, he does not want to give way after the dram!
