An elegeant grain nose backed by a rum note. The rum disappears completely on the palate and leaves almost a dry sherry sensation on the tongue, which might be a combination of 1st fill bourbon cask sweetness and the sweetness of the rum, without rum notes, if this makes sense.
So a rum nose and a sherry finish. It left me a bit confused but in a good way.
