Whisky Reviews for Craigellachie 1983

3 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 90.00 points

  1. lincolnimp did not rate this whisky Connoisseur

This whisky is indicative of what's happening all over the whisky industry, £2000 for this, really, it is a disgrace,

Who has decided this whisky from a little known distillery is worth £2000

Sod it, when my supplies are finished I am drinking gin. The problem is people are still buying it through travel retail , why ?

Can one of the buyers explain to me why they think this is worth the money?

What is more worrying is that this is not a one off but part of a worrying trend of lesser known distilleries trying to reposition their brand in the premiumisation market, it matters not who the parent company is that owns this distillery, they all meld into one after a while.

Its all b******* and I find it very, very depressing when you think that when the Highland Park came out in the new flat bottle the 30 year cost £195.

[January, 2018]  If the prices of third class shares or third class real estate go through the roof every experienced investor knows that the (respective) bubble is about to burst very soon.  So, what do you think when the prices of third class malts go crazy?

  3. RL_whisky scored this whisky 89 points Connoisseur

Disregard the price. The whisky itself I find very enjoyable indeed. Fresh tropicals fruits, more fruit and citrus hints.
