    Aftertaste: subtle, sweet lingers, fruitcake.

Also has something of almond (also in the color) and something of heather honey, some toffee, a bit flowery, creamy

The price is now €119 - so a significant price increase for this blended single malt compared to previously read prices.
    • Nose
      87 87
Vanilla, Fruit Cake, Heather honey, sweet
    • Taste
      87 87
Subtle bitterness, grains, almost, subtle coffee, darling chocolade, very subtle peat
    • Finish
      89 89
Sweet, typically the fruit cake, very mild

Average whiskey with a decent flavor. The taste, the finish is not worse. It seems to me that the 18 years she spent in the barrel is fiction. I will not buy the second time.
    • Nose
      81 81
delicate, fruity, pears, apples, raisins, vanilla, suede
    • Taste
      81 81
quite sweet, oily, peppery, honey, raisins again
    • Finish
      80 80
medium, slightly peppery, warming, slightly spicy ending with tingling on the tongue tinging to the aftertaste of beer.

    • Nose
      72 72
A very strange scent. Sweet and waxy. Notes of vanilla, honey, marzipan and beeswax. Followed by some fruits like white grapes, pear and cherries. A strong scent of eucalyptus and at the end some oak.
    • Taste
      73 73
Very similar to the nose. Some other notes I taste are butter and creme fraiche. The rest is really the same.
    • Finish
      77 77
Medium-long. Buttery sweets, cream and vanilla custard.

Good aroma - fruity-herbal, simple taste, short finish. Drinking blend. Between him, an orange 18, a monkey or a taildike 12 would choose this dewar. 21.5-21-21-21.5

Nose: some sweet fruits, sweet red berries, honey, vanilla, wood.
Taste: oily, oak, honey, some spices.
Aftertaste: sweet, honey, ripe fruits, spicy spices.
    Finish: more average.
Bottom line: for a reasonable price of 50 € you can have a drink with friends, a very representative design of the box and bottle, I would not enjoy this whiskey alone, but it is quite possible to take on a company

    • Nose
      86 86
Oak, Citrus, Raisins. This is not bad at all.
    • Taste
      86 86
Fruity, bourbon-ish notes, vanilla, tropical fruits, oak
    • Finish
      84 84
Oakyness after some airing in the glass.

ose: sweet, honey, dried fruits, beewax, leather, tobacco leaves, oak, spices, cake, dark fruits and berries, light note of cereal spirit and vanilla. Mouth: smooth, sweet, dried fruits, oak, spices, grass, honey, vanilla, leather and chocolate. Finish: long, sweet, spices, oak, vanilla, dried fruits, dark berries and chocolate. It’s a tasty, smooth, easy drinkable, and noble whisky. Dewar’s 18YO is good for drinking in the evening with good friends.

  10. Marko_I did not rate this whisky Connoisseur

Beautiful blend of the upper class, tasty to full-bodied, for 55 € you can drink well.
    • Nose
nutty-spicy-sweet, first marzipan, nougat, later more cocoa, with a light, pleasant woodiness (and a very light sweet herb / hay, so in the direction of damp, warm haystacks)
    • Taste
goes on similarly, nuts, almonds, toasted, cocoa, in spite of only 40% beautiful full-bodied, a bit more wood and spice than expected from the nose (almost pepper), with a longer residence time in the mouth's also in the direction of tobacco and leather
    • Finish
      long, nougat, cocoa
