This surprising blended malt (here is no grain, for clarity) is a nice addition to the Galaxy Series of Mark & Manny's Malts!
    • Nose
The nose starts a little shy, but if you give it some time and warmth, it opens nicely. Then he offers a panoply of aromas including caramel, hazelnuts, prunes and rum-encrusted raisins, with a hint of espresso. It evolves into a nice mix of stewed fruit and some sweet butter. There is also a herbal side with a hint of garden herbs. Finally, a big portion of snuff and a spoonful of muffins. Very layered, very risky.
    • Taste
It is deliciously creamy to taste, but quite powerful. A rough bolster with a soft pit, you know? Immediately sweet on nuts, caramel, plums, supplemented with dates and sultanas. A lost mandarin appears. The herbs of service are clove and licorice. A hint of cinnamon. No trace of oak, but the more fruit.
    • Finish
The wonderfully warm, long and spicy aftertaste sizzles for minutes. Only on the deathbed does a slight bitterness of the oak appear with still that beautiful spiciness.

Color AmberNose It starts a bit shy, but with patience and hand warmth it offers up a panoply of aromas such as caramel, hazelnuts, plums and rum raisins with a hint of espresso. It evolves towards a mix of stewed fruits and sweetened butter. There is a herbal side to it as well. Finally some sniffing tobacco and a spoonful of mocha pudding. Very layered and... frankly, quite dared.Palate Wonderfully creamy and very powerful arrival. Immediately sweet on nuts, caramel and plums, upholstered by dades and sultanas. Some mandarin.
