N- Born somewhere in Scotland, then raised in Burgundy, still eligible as Single Malt? I am not sure, but this works out well on most MC's bottling, including this one. Featherly light, elegant and utterly complex with good evolving nature. Fresh barley wort, herbal tea and even quite rum-ish. Full of delicious fruit cakes, maraschino, berries and creme anglaise. Then zests of orange, pomelo and lemon come thru. Not quite the usual powerful and gripping Olorosso but were well nurtured by Sherry nonetheless. An aroma to pleased and make me feel young (again) and happy (again too). (94/23)

P- Absolutely a stunner. Intriguing salted sherry that capture my palate, and get saltier overtimes, just perfect. Crushed leaf with umami sweetness developed. Refine liquid that careless on palate, comfort, tasty and engaging. (95/23)

F- Medium long, hand mashed leaf again. Very chilled brewed black coffee that leave you with this lightly tannin and sourish feel. Hawthorn candy and herbaceous linger. Tangy and spicy. (91/22)

B/B- 93/23 Not cheap on this ordinary looking 500ml bottle, but hit the roof with its quality. Well done Mr. Martell to pick up this one.

Weighted Rate- 92pt (+1 for being surprisingly good, and reminded me with old malt characteristic)

Anyone know from which distillery this elixir came from?
