The Strathclyde shimmers soft pink with an unusual color combination in the Premium Snifter. Reddish and orange, dusky pink and peach, visually very interesting, but also nasally the Strathclyde shows an extremely unusual side. Roasted flavors mix with wet cereal flavors, creamy, oily, red wine barrel, dark and sweet grapes, caramel, dried grapes and berries, oranges, vanilla, whole milk chocolate, strawberries and raspberries, the flavors go crazy!
The first sip pours creamy and full-bodied on the tongue. Red wine, caramel, cereals, malt, chocolate, strawberries, raisins and extremely fruity sweetness. Hazelnuts spread throughout the mouth, subtle sharpness arises, a pinch of black pepper follows, malty and sweet and creamy cereal notes appear on the palate. There are minimally sour fruit components in the background, the wine barrel finish gives the Strathclyde a soft and extremely fruity character.
