  1. Lorion scored this whisky 79 points Expert Senior

Good with water. Without not. 79 points
    • Nose
Artificial perfume notes. Strawberry perfume. Rose fragrance. Then come berries and nuts. Weinig is the nose too. The artificial note can not hide. Water : The artificial note disappears almost completely. Now it is really delicious.
    • Taste
Full, sparkling. Nutty berries. A touch of perfume (along with the sharpness, as if from a mishap something perfume to the lips). Bitter goodie.
Water : Hardly changed, a little softer.
    • Finish
      Long. Beer Fruity.

  3. Tom na Gruagaich scored this whisky 85 points Connoisseur

When blind tasting not recognized as Grain, but also much younger estimated. Beautiful whiskey yet.
    • Nose
sweetish, spicy, vinous, raspberries, liquorice, somehow "cool"
    • Taste
strong onset, then wine, pepper, slightly sourish fruit note, some cereals, somehow spicy.
    • Finish
Spicy, a little sweet, less than expected, slightly chilling, then licorice.

  4. Dramned! did not rate this whisky Expert Senior

He is very nice round and pleases with wonderful fruit notes, but ...
    • Nose
Red fruits like ripe strawberries, raspberries, juicy lemons, orange peel, you also smell the red wine quite clearly. If I have many other whiskeys often ham flavors, so it is here time salami. And that as a vegetarian ...
Also, the oak comes through stronger, the longer you smell, although not as strong as I would have expected at the age.
    • Taste
Warm tickling on the whole tongue, sweet and sour fruit notes, currants, raspberry jelly, and kirsch, really fat sugar syrup as with Turkish baklava. Salted nuts. And again clearly the red wine - as if it had been tipped while tasting in the whiskey ... Probably the Rioja barrel was emptied very fresh. I have not tannins of red wine, but very beautiful oak notes that soften the sweetness a bit.
    • Finish
The finish is grain typical rather short and unspectacular, but very beautiful fruity and creamy.
