Nice combination of fruit and cream. So far I have only tasted young sherried Tamdhus and I thought that the casks of those were fully responsible for their creamy character, but this one disproves that.
    • Nose
Whipped cream, dried apricot, caramel, vanilla, malt sugar, lime, stewed pear, apple syrup and fig. With water more caramel, mango and a little brown sugar.
    • Taste
Exactly what the nose promises. Cream, dried apricot, lime, caramel, apple compote, malt sugar, vanilla, yellow raisin and fig. Well drinkable even at cask strength. Even though a dash of water won't hurt, it doesn't really change the character of the whisky. It perhaps adds a little toffee.
    • Finish
Dried apricot, toffee, whipped cream, apple, white chocolate, raisin, roasted chestnut and lime.
