Whisky Reviews for Tamdhu 1990 BF

- Nice combination of fruit and cream. So far I have only tasted young sherried Tamdhus and I thought that the casks of those were fully responsible for their creamy character, but this one disproves that.
Whipped cream, dried apricot, caramel, vanilla, malt sugar, lime, stewed pear, apple syrup and fig. With water more caramel, mango and a little brown sugar.
Exactly what the nose promises. Cream, dried apricot, lime, caramel, apple compote, malt sugar, vanilla, yellow raisin and fig. Well drinkable even at cask strength. Even though a dash of water won't hurt, it doesn't really change the character of the whisky. It perhaps adds a little toffee.
Dried apricot, toffee, whipped cream, apple, white chocolate, raisin, roasted chestnut and lime.
