Whisky Reviews for Sir Edward's Smoky
5 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 69.00 points
- Aroma: Nuts, orange peel, a bit of sweet spiciness, and somewhere just a hint of light smoke. (74 pts)
Taste: Very fine, unfortunately faint and bland. The overall flat impression, only in the aftertaste saves a bit of wood and spices. (70 pts)
Summary: Do not get caught on the word "smoky". Thank you joseme for half a minute thumbnail and taste it.
- yellow brown in color
slightly volatile, again no force in alcohol in the nose, there is a fireplace, but very light
thin, light the smoke is as good as not? sugar like alcohol
short or not at all, slightly more burning on the lips than the sir edward's finest
- The 'smoky' aspect is something to look for in this whiskey. Pretty thin, but for the price a reasonable whiskey.
Plum, leather, some sour, apples. Also sweet, honey. Orange peel, rubber, very far away a little fireplace-air
Plum, leather, sweet, honey. Watery mouthfeel. Also a little caramel.
Some watery, thin, fairly short, sweet, honey, bit bitter. rubber and leather, slightly peppery.
