Geil cool horny. I would take a bottle!
    • Nose
Rich vanilla, sweetened limes, lemon-flavored candies, lychee, grapefruit, lemon zest
    • Taste
Creamy mouthfeel with strong citrus notes, some effervescent powder, here too all sorts of citrus fruits come together, a lot of warmth in the mouth
    • Finish
A wonderful finish, no bitterness but still a lot of spice, which are completely surrounded by the ubiquitous citrus notes

This is again an Old Pulteney pure and unadorned - idiosynchratisch in its aroma.
Rich Power - served with a creamy texture.
No softened, sherrytöniger, herunterverdünnter and mass suitable 21er or the like.

    Rather no water.

Bourbon vanilla, salty-maritime with seaweed, sea breeze. Pear, nectarine, banana, unripe pineapple, grapefruit. Fresh herbs and some mint. In the background hovers a fine spice (turmeric).
Deep, clean and with neat elegance.
    • Taste

Full, sweet start - oily and intense. First comes the light-fruited side (lychee, pear, pineapple) and a flowery note. Something fiery and dense.
Gets drier. The alcohol is present, but still ok.
There are also mineral notes added.
    • Finish
      89 89
Start fruity with peach and pear, then more oak and spice, but not bitter. Pretty long. Ends on fruity notes of peach, pear, seaweed and vanilla.

N: Yet more of that sweaty saltiness again, three in a row. More lovely oiliness too, sweeter this time.
T: Green-briney arrival with a reasonable malty/dunnage-y/putty/bourbon depth, somewhat sugary sweet.
F: Thick sweet melon fruits, cream soda and candid bourbon cask action.
C: Another well made, CS, distillery exclusive expression that reflects Pulteney’s character. Again, £140 feels steep though it’s decent whisky nevertheless.Scores a B[-]
