Was told at a whisky bar in Tokyo that this contains Glenfarclas. Not sure if this was a single malt or blend though. Upon research, this is apparently a blend of Glenfarclas, Macallan, and Royal Brackla.
On the nose, sherry and caramel. With time, the honey, caramel and syrup develops into full volume. Cooked fruits can also be detected throughout.
The palate is filled with dirty sherry. Old books and tobacco are also apparent. Mild nuts are also present with time. In general, the body is quite mild and easy-going.
The finish is medium with notes of coffee beans and dark chocolate.
All in all, quite an old school sherry cask expression.
