30ml consumed Aug 2022.
Fairly pale yellow.
Aroma is waxed lemons, lemony spirt. Maybe a hint of pineapple but pretty much just lemon.
Body is watery.
Taste is very light with again that vague lemony note. No oak bitterness. No discernible ‘stout’ influence. No ethanol burn. Just watery with a hint of lemon. There's a lemongrass astringency on the finish.
Very easy-going and fairly pleasant if a bit wishy washy. From memory I think this might be one of the better Teeling whiskies I’ve had. Nothing offensive. Quite plain but clean. Dangerously drinkable. Nothing wrong with this. 3.3/79
