  1. Marko_I did not rate this whisky Connoisseur

Tasty, nice mouthfeel, smells very pleasant, the fruit-cocoa-combo fits wonderfully, no corners, but not soft-washed ... you could say "noble-tasty". With 70 € no bargain, but also not overpriced (because you have to grab in Ireland for some boring stuff deeper into the bag).
    • Nose
very open, intense, first fruity, pineapple, not too ripe banana, watermelon, some green apple, then also slightly chocolaty, drinking cocoa
    • Taste
briefly tropical fruit salad on arrival, of which longer overripe banana and a touch of grapefruit and passion fruit, plus a lot of chocolate cream pudding, cocoa and a gentle, dry spicy oak and spicy, very pleasant, velvety mouthfeel
    • Finish
long, sweet, dry, some grapefruit and lots of cocoa sound, some walnut ... then a warm, velvety, spicy sharpness

Intense fruity nose. Has something very fermented and easily Gerstler. This disappears again quite fast and gives a real fruit basket again. Slightly alcoholic and peppery. A lot of spice from the oak.

The aroma is reflected in the mouth. Passion fruit juice with alcohol ;-)

    Long dry peppery spicy finish

Good PLV for a 16 year old Irish!

Blind I would have guessed this as a Compass Box or Clynelish I have had before. Very fruity and not as much buttery notes as other Irish’s I have had. Good, fresh bright flavors.
    • Nose
      88 88
Tropical fruits, lemon maltiness, honey vanilla.
    • Taste
      86 86
Palate matches the nose, very fruity, sharp notes, pepper, slight saltiness
    • Finish
      84 84
      Medium short, tart, drying

Fruity Irish with floral touch and spices. Unfortunately a bit alcoholic-spicy.
    • Nose
      85 85
Pineapple, mirabelles, not quite ripe bananas, some alcohol in the nose, coconut, vanilla, ginger, cardamom, mango, passion fruit, pear, watermelon, cinnamon apple, rose petals
    • Taste
      84 84
creamy, fruity, spicy, with dark chocolate, banana, ginger, cardamom and cinnamon, very slightly watery, then passion fruit and mango come forward, pineapple, again the strange watermelon and a lot of vanilla, some honey and coconut; slightly alcoholic, gets more with each sip; Baking cocoa, marble cake, a hint of pink grapefruit, some almond paste, light black tea with a drop of cream, the watermelon turns into a bouquet of flowers
    • Finish
      85 85
medium; fast-drying, sweet-fruity-spicy, lots of baking cocoa, grapefruit, ginger, cardamom, a hint of thyme and pepper, cinnamon apple, rose petal tea, malt candy, more rose petal tea, banana

Decent Irish for the price. Pleasant dram that is not too complex. Easy drinking whiskey.
    • Nose
      85 85
Tropical fruits, honey, soft florals, light mint note, some grass as well
    • Taste
      84 84
Light citrus zest, tropical fruits, more honey, hint of chocolate
    • Finish
      84 84
Light pepper, malty, slight tartness, citrus zest

I love Irish malts, the triple distillate makes for a thick and oily dram and this is a lovely rich and easily accessible dram. The typical oils and thickness comes out very early, but the sherry spice is dry and very pleasant. If you find this grab it and thank me later... You don't have to suffer through that green bottle any more for good Irish whiskey.
    • Nose
      87 87
The nose is rich, sherry fruit and spice cake lead. Malt biscuits and pink rubber erasers trail. Floral notes and a farmy note of sheep barns. More of that soft malt porridge and dense fruity sweets.
    • Taste
      83 83
The palate is sharp, spicy and lush. Oily and mouth coating with a thick sherry spice, tea leaf tannin and oat cookies.
This was okay, the fruit lead like crazy, but it seemed like the dram struggled to keep up.
    • Finish
      85 85
The finish is shorter towards the medium end. Sweets porridge with strawberry preserves and more sawn oak from an old barn. There's a funk and the oily rubber erasers come back as it closes out.

this is not a grenade now, but at least so good that you can drink it without worries as all-day-dram. Is also pretty tasty and therefore almost dangerous.
    • Nose
sweet, strong pear and honey, vanilla, slightly pungent alcohol,
    • Taste
Plum, honey, some malt, alcohol just enough.
    • Finish
Medium length finish with light nut, pear and a sparkling wine. Almost no bitterness.

no high flyer but exceeded my expectations, good PLV
    • Nose
Sour apple, tropical fruits like mango, papaya and some kiwi, Mosel wine
    • Taste
tingling and strong but not snappy
    • Finish
slight bitterness from the oak but then relatively fast away, relatively short finish
