A really great Bruichladdich! Creamy and sweet, peaty with a fine hint of smoke. Discreet musty and musty. Intense chocolate and almonds ... Great part, I like it very much!
    • Nose
Wow, fine and fruity peat notes are pouring out of the glass! The first Nosing then unfolds the Bruichladdich its full aroma. Mild and mineral peat mixes with fruity and dried berries. Dark sherry aroma plays with dark chocolate and sweet smoke aromas, the mineral peat harmonizes perfectly with the intense fruit flavors. After repeated smelling the initially harmoniously integrated alcohol is very dominant and bizzels slightly in the nose. Slowly, the peat and smoke aroma with the intense dark fruits merge to a creamy melange which is soon covered by the high alcohol content.
    • Taste
Creamy with fiery roasted aromas, the peat discharges its full and intense aroma at the first sip. Burnt almonds mix with dark, dark chocolate, hot espresso drips on the chocolate and melts creamy with the nutty chocolate. These wonderful aromas slowly fade away, in the background is sweet and fruity peat with a subtle cold smoky note. A wonderfully sweet and creamy chocolate mixture is distributed over intense and fruity berries and grapes. Very delicate!
    • Finish
Sweet and creamy, the departure begins his work. In the meantime, a subtle sharpness has formed and heats up the palate. Slightly musty and with a hint of moder, the sherry flavors come to the fore again, the sweet peat is not as mineral as at the beginning. a chubby warmth spreads in the mouth, at the very end of the finish, a dry walnut aroma comes to light. The wonderfully harmonious aromas will be remembered for a long time.

    Conclusion and pictures on: https://tomtrinkt.de
    • Nose
The Bruichladdich starts with a slight smokiness and a variety of "heavy" flavors. Lots of dark chocolate, roasted aromas - up to espresso, a variety of nuts and spices caress my nose. The high alcohol content of 54.9% is very well integrated. Slightly hesitant now emerge dark forest fruits (with a slight sweetness) and a subtle moderation, which reminds me of a wet forest floor in autumn. The beautiful complexity is complemented by a subtle saltiness. To be honest, the flavor constellation is somewhat unexpected for me, as I expected more of a fruity sherry board. Nevertheless, the nose is very harmonious and increases the anticipation of the tasting.
    • Taste
Stronger and fuller. The mouthfeel is wonderfully oily and warming, with a noticeable prickle on the tip of the tongue (especially at the first sip). A flood of bittersweet chocolate and some milk chocolate, with a pronounced Nussigkeit (reminds me strongly of the nutcracker chocolate), seduces my taste buds. So it seems like a chocolate fountain for adults. The roasted aromas are also present again and tend towards strong coffee or espresso. A light fruitiness of dark berries, subtle smoke and oak spice join. The taste also convinces me the harmony.
    • Finish
Medium to long. Still very oily and warming, at the tip of the tongue sets again a decent tingle. Heavy sherry flavors, chocolate, almonds and nuts follow. In the background there is a slight smokiness with maritime hints (salt). Finally, a slight dryness crystallizes out.

Wow! The malt has developed wonderfully after the bad start with water. Wonderfully complex and balanced, tasty and nicely testifies where it comes from. Has been able to convince me yet.
    • Nose
First comes quite a muff after old shoe soles from the glass, clear citrus fruits, lime, cherry, the alcohol is quite present, shortbread, Laddie smoke, cough drops, honey, roasted aromas, unfortunately, the alcohol today is much too poorly integrated. A few drops of water can help and "liberate" the sherry, the creaminess, the pepperiness, the oak, the sweetness, the chocolate, the Laddie character. The malt explodes out of itself and suddenly makes fun, sherry, roasted hazelnuts, figs, sweetened blackberries, malt, honey, pastries, salt, pepper, chocolate, sand, candied almonds, berry jam..we see the smoke / roast aromas / the tobacco stronger, sometimes the sherry. Great!
    • Taste
creamy, sweet, peppery, chocolate, sherry, plum, raisin, sweet blackberries, shortbread, roasted aromas, nuts, subtle smoke, little, oak, unmistakable Laddie character, great variety of aromas
    • Finish
a lot of sherry, chocolate, subtle smoke, sweet, again malt and sherry fruits, the flavors of nose and taste are here almost 1 to 1 again. Medium long finish with a very oily mouthfeel
