Nose

Spices, cinnamon and glue. Behind that, vanilla. I didn't notice any change after adding water.

Taste

Spicy chilli and curry come first for me, followed by sweet oak notes and orange peel. No considerable change in taste with water, but the mouth feel gets thicker, stickier.

Finish

Long with orange peel, spices and caramelised sugar.

Okay-ish dram that doesn't quite fit into SMWS's category of "Deep, rich & dried fruits", in my humble opinion. More like "Spicy & sweet".

Открытый, влажный, зерно, солод, самогонные нотки, столярная мастерская, немного хвои и смолы, растворитель, лёгкие оттенки лака, карамель, леденцы монпансье, лимонные цукаты, персики, яблочный сок.

Taste

 Плотный, насыщенный, сладкие ягодно-цитрусовые тона с зерном, солодом, пряным и терпким дубом; немного хвои и эфира, маринованный имбирь.

Finish

Пряное, согревающее, медовуха, бражные нотки, ягодное варенье, лимонные и апельсиновые цукаты, лёгкие древесные оттенки, брусника, рябина.

Comments

Хороший молт, молодой и неотёсанный, с сильным зерновым и самогонным влиянием, но весьма разнообразный, пряный, очень позитивный, праздничный, летний.

Nose

süßer, schwerer, fruchtiger Duft nach aromatischer Virgin Oak - nach Bourbon(Schnaps), Honig, leichte entfernte Maisnote, sehr kräftige Vanille, die Fruchtigkeit erinnert an Rumtopf, frische Streussel mit einem Hauch Klebstoffnote

Taste

sehr intensive süße Vanille, weiche frische leckere Eiche - aromatisch herbwürzig aber ohne Bitterkeit, kein Alkohol spürbar, die Aromen sind aber  gleichzeitig sehr kräftig, etwas Minze und Schokolade sehr lecker 

Finish

wärmend, schmeichelnd, mittelang, minzig, würzig

der ist verdammt lecker, vereint das Beste von Bourbon und Malt - ein schönes Eichen-Schoko-Fruchtbonbon

SMWS tasting notes:
The aromas quickly deviated from the common path and promptly arrived in a funky and curious world of dried papaya, strong black tea and new snakeskin boots. A deep fruitiness enveloped the nose with golden raisons, toasted malt loaf and Tokaji dessert wine. Tea tree oil and clotted cream introduced a palate rich in the myriad of spices found in a Turkish market. A veritable melting pot of flavours as coriander, herbal cough syrup and tropical punch bustled with hard candy, spicy aniseed balls and ras el hanout. After spending 11 years in an ex-bourbon hogshead it was transferred to a virgin oak hogshead for the remainder of its maturation.
DRINKING TIP: For a blustery day on the hills.
