Full-bodied mouthfeel, very sweet and intense; the alcohol is very well integrated, no burning at all. Spicy oak, rich vanilla with mild apple juice, soft barley and that lovely shortbread again, together with a pinch of salt.
Water brings up again ripe cantaloupe and sweet, floral notes.
Slightly spicy, with oaky notes, coffee beans and apple sauce with rich vanilla, accompanied by a faint hint of sea salt spray. After a moment some fresh ripe peach with the aroma you get from chewing on its paring. Some vague, distant smoke.
After a while lingering vanilla with a soft spiciness and freshly baked sweet and butyric shortbread.
