Expectations were greater than this Tobik. In the beginning it was dry, oily and oak-grassy. With that herbal note, it crushed very hard. But standing in the core, minutes so from 30-40. It opened.

Nose: First come the oak-herb notes. There are too many of them. There is minerality. Over time, oil (fat butter) is added, fruit notes and eclairs are added.

Testing: Again, the may notes (wormwood), salt (cucumber), bell pepper, baking, citrus.

Finish: Warm, buttery, rounded, salty with sweet caramel.

  2. Calmar scored this whisky 88 points Connoisseur

Interesting mole, aroma a la Klineish, taste / finish more oak-herb, bitter-sweet with oily hues; in general, it is very interesting, it is quite integral and diverse.
    • Nose
Open, dry, first nose - a tree with berry notes; oak, dry grass, wild flowers, honey, propolis, mineral tones - dry brickwork, stone dust; lemon zest, a few ripe red apples, vanilla, lemonade, on the whole very similar to Klineish.
    • Taste
Powerful, oily, oak-herbaceous, bitter-sweet, medicinal herbs, red pepper, lemon, oil cream, grapefruit cake, viburnum, camphor, menthol.
    • Finish
Spicy, warming, cinnamon, cardamom, lemon candied fruits, enveloping oily, young bark, candies, mint, orange peel, vanilla, confectionery notes appear in the development.

An interesting whisky. It was fun to try it. It doesn't knock my socks off completely, but it is good enough to spend more time with it.
    • Nose
Immediately after pouring, a fresh and slightly mineral note. Then fruit muesli. Then the grain notes subside and it becomes fruity. Orange jam. Pear compote. Apricot liquor. Floral and herbal notes also mix in from time to time. In addition, tree sap and fresh branches with leaves.
    • Taste
Relatively sweet and creamy. Herbal honey. Quittengelee. Then oak wort. Now I'm heading towards licorice. Orange peel. Lemon shower stick.
    • Finish
The shower sticks remain a little. Acid paired with a bit of bitterness. Then it gets drier. Some hay too.

Interesting and delicious. There is no chance to guess the distillery of the blindfold. Just a cool base game and barrel. Good luck wizard choice.
