Spicy, beautifully complex dram, where the different flavors sometimes stand in the foreground, sometimes in the background. You can spend a lot of time with it.
    • Nose
Slightly salty, dark chocolate, macadamia nut
    • Taste
Sweet compote from sour fruits, briefly flashing floral aromas and are also gone again. Then comes a subtle smoke and wood of sherry casks. The nuttiness and salt accompany the other flavors.
    • Finish
Long finish. Light, salty smoke (Longrow?) Remains.

  3. larswehmeier scored this whisky 80 points Expert Senior

Interesting Dram, which requires some time in the nose but is almost tasty in taste.
    • Nose
Strong start. The high alcohol content is noticeable. Sweet. Raisins. Wood. Initially quite difficult to arrange due to the intense impression. Over time, sweeter and tastier with white chocolate and popcorn.
    • Taste
Very creamy and powerful. A whiskey to chew. A lot of caramel. But also very spicy. Nuts. A touch of bitter almonds.
    • Finish
Medium long and mild. Some oak.

  4. Xaver did not rate this whisky Expert Senior

    • Nose
Nice, subtle smoke flavor. Leather, some salt, waxy body, hay, caramel, rather light fruit, alcohol is well integrated. Makes itself felt only by a cool note. Ripe apricot comes through, some honey I would say, as sweet I would not call it, rather harsh. Slightly sour citrus fruits. Nutmeg, plum.
    • Taste
Spicy, slightly smoky onset. Then fruity sweet. Honey comes, marzipan, plum, some bitter pear, subtle nutty, bit acidity of citrus fruits. Goes without problems without problems. The alcohol pushes along well. With water: Significantly fruity, but the smoke goes back a bit. In the taste, then almost too mild.
    • Finish
Medium long, dry, but also honey sweet, a bit bitterness and a breeze of smoke. Slightly mineral.
