Strong flavors unfold from my glass immediately after pouring. The high alcohol content (50%) is noticeable with a pleasant, cooling freshness, which fades slightly after a few minutes. Especially sweet, red fruits crave for attention, cherries, raspberries and some strawberries I perceive. Vanilla, honey, toasted almonds and chocolate (more milk chocolate) join. The tart-sourish character of blood oranges flashes and enhances the complex fruitiness.

Strong onset, very full-bodied and oily. At the beginning very saliva-stimulating with a dominant fruitiness (red berries). The omnipresent cherries are joined by plenty of chocolate, almonds, nuts and caramel. Subtle notes of a freshly brewed black coffee I associate after the second sip. Slightly spicy notes of wood with hints of cinnamon and cloves complete the taste profile. A slight dryness is already noticeable.

Medium. The red fruits rear up again and contrast very nicely with the vinous notes, which gradually cause a noticeable dryness with a slight bitterness. Cherries, chocolate, cinnamon and a pleasant oak flavor dominate the finish.
