Whisky Reviews for Bruichladdich 2005
7 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 88.35 points
Fruity and floral, very well integrated alcohol. Vanilla, again and again, caramel, cherry and prunes. A little leather, wood and a touch of varnish. The bourbon cask did an exceptional job.
Vanilla and caramel is shocking, it is very greedy, the skunk drum balances wonderfully whisky and gives a little sweetness. A cream burned under steroids! it's powerful and intense !!
Pleasant, not a phenomenal length but in agreement with the nose and the mouth. I want more!
- needs water to fully appreciate the sauternes
- Strong pastry signs. Shortcrust pastry with vanillin. , , and really tasty :-)
