In my point of view, this Whisky is absolutely wonderful. It has this sweetness that I want and is a very good "every-day-dram" - not too complicated, very delightful and easy to drink. I bought this Whisky, because I haven't had a bottle of this distillery at home before. I am not disappointed.
At first I discover sweet flavors, like demerara sugar and bitter honey. The oak is noticeable and very decent. After some time in the glass, there is butter and vanilla.
At the start the Whisky is fruity and slightly sweet. The alcohol is not displeasing and underlines the taste. Short after the caramel explodes in the mouth, toffee, millionaire's shortbread and butterscotch fill out the whole palate and make this a really sugary experience. The vanilla is quiet in the background.
The finish is medium. The caramel stays the longest. I notice spices and gingerbread and perhaps tonka beans.
