Marko_I did not rate this whisky

The Kozuba single malt from Poland was still halfway likable, but in the States probably no one waited for this Kozuba Rye from the new US distillery. He wins no flower pot with me.

Compared to the rather open-hearted, 3% weaker Kozuba Prologue, whom I tasted a lot, Mr. Rye is very closed and needs some water, then he opens something but remains very restrained and can not quite decide what he is wants - something between Bourbon, Rye and German Obstlerwhiskey, vanilla, honey, artificial fruit notes (orange, peach), not very spicy
-
shortly the nose flavors (vanilla, honey, orange), then he is mainly spicy and bitter (despite dilution) ... well, cocoa is still there ... and sip by sip he always tastes "German"
-
pretty hot and spicy (for diluted 46%)
