Whisky Reviews for Caperdonich 1968 GM

- Amber, orange, sweet scented, caramel, fresh, lays soft, round on the tongue, oily, creamy, yummy, long lasting, sweet, end slightly bitter
- My advice is to be patient with this one. After time, the rather subdued and moldy nose develops into a fruitier and grassier dram. the finish is the best if you ask me.
Ouch, rather dusty, wet cardboard and even mold. Let's wait. Later: still cardboard-y, but much less. Honey and soft fruit (stewed plums) have entered, just as orange, plain grass and some vanilla.
Gets rather greenish, on grass and mint, with still some cardboard and faded fruitiness. A slight bitter note of metals and ginger reveals itself too.
Actually this is the best part. A nice combo of sweet, sour and bitter, with the fruit, herbs and some spices that reveal themselves.
