    Batch 26, 2015

N- Simmer reduction of brown rock sugar, angelica roots and mixed spices mixture over opened sandalwood fire. Then stir in a good measure of herb liqueurs or DOM to enhance the taste, poached with peeled ripe chiku, then finished with some sour milk and pour it over a moist vanilla fudge cake. That's pretty much what this is all about. Powerful, tasty and creamy. Oh, also, while doing the above, smoking a nutty cohiba. (90/22)

P- Melt on the tongue and hearty, warm tropical. compote of nuts and toasted melon seeds. Well rounded, rock sugar and spices with hint of rubber. (88/22)

F- Long and dry. Sticky dark spice sphere with exotic burn wood smokes, joss stick and savoury butter. Minty and tangy mango skins. (90/22)

B/B- 92/23 Amicably consistent throughout with high notes all the way. Enoumours.

    Cereal- 1, Fruity- 2, Floral- 2, Peaty- 0, Feinty- 1, Sulphury- 1, Woody- 4, Winery- 2, Spicy- 2

    Weighted Rate- 89pt

Nose: Smoke, soil, ashes, fermented bean curd, dry, sherry barrel, syrup, rotting wood, strong turpentine, Chinese medicinal materials (rehmannia glutinosa).

Drink: Medium-bodied, tannin, pungent, and the taste is endless rotten wood...

    Overall: I drank Batch 24

(Because I use a new scoring system, so the score will fluctuate greatly)

I'm baffled at how much this whisky remind me of eating Indian cuisine. Passed this one blindly to my father without telling where it's from, he said why does it taste like chicken jalfrezi lolol.

Spicy and sharp on the nose. Smell a bit like turpentine. Blood orange zest, filer for food rubbing on the outer skin. This is what it smells like. Very strong alcohol smell, like said, turpentine.

Hot, spicy, peppery Indian curry in whisky form. I'm tasting cardamom, black pepper, turmeric, fried garlic, methi, jeera, salted fried Chili.

Order a black pepper rasam at an authentic Indian restaurant and this is exactly like that. Sweet, sour, salty, spicy and slight bitterness.

      Sweet-ness comes from vanilla.
Sour-ness from the rasam like combination of herbs and spices.
Spicy-ness from the pepper and salt stuffed Chili
      Salt as above.
      Bitterness from turmeric.

Dry and long. Feels like I've just ate msg or Ajinomoto. Some sour plum like taste. The dry feeling and sour residue from eating preserved plums. Sandalwood like scent for aftertaste.
