Taste: it starts with fruity sweetness, pear, lemon and honeydew melon, then bites the alcohol, later comes in contrast to the nose, the oak quite strong
Finish: short to medium-long, again fruity sweetness, vanilla, some honey, clear oak at the back, which turns off slightly bitterness
with water: more vanilla, unfortunately remains the alcohol note, even if you diluted it down to 40%.
Conclusion: actually a nice fruity summer whisky, unfortunately the impression is clouded by the always present alcoholic notes. Unfortunately, the water is not really against it. Longer maturing would not have helped either, then the oak would quickly become too dominant - 79 points
