Whisky Reviews for Highland Park 10-year-old
3 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 81.65 points
This is a review of the old 10 y/o. I was lucky to grab couple of the last bottles while on holiday in Canada. I have tried the new 12 y/o Viking honour, the magnus edition and the recently released Valkyrie. This beats them all with possible exception of the old 12 y/o.
Fruity nose with hint of peat and plenty of heather notes. Tastes best with a drop of water. Sweet initially followed by chocolate and mint. Slightly bittter but refreshing flavours follow. Lmgering nutty aftertaste with predominantly walnut flavours.
Bargain if you can still get it. I will hopefully get that one bottle that I left behind on the shelves of the store today...
