    Colour: russetmuscat
Nose: slightly musty, jute, and sometimes a whiff of smoke? Later on apples and cherries. Quite OK actually.
Taste: more mustiness, accompanied by (very) sour tangerine juice mixed with ripe bananas - not the best combination.
Finish: soap! Are there bubbles coming out of my mouth already? Then citrusy, and the jute mustiness returning again at the end. It's very dry, and the taste of sparkling mineral water pops up (and I don't like sparkling mineral water…)

The nose is pretty OK, but it's downhill from there. Musty and soapy tastes overpower the rest.

    25-points score: Nose: 21 / Taste: 18 / Finish: 17 / Balance: 17.

    Tasted 05/03/2019 in a Journeyman Distillery line-up.

Glad I only got a sample of this stuff.
    • Nose
Quite alright, vanilla, what jou would expect from a bourbon.
    • Taste
Verry bitter, sour taste, can't think of anything else (definitely not my mind of thing)
    • Finish
Leaves you a bitter mouth, not eager to take the next sip.

Good, but definitely not as good as their wheat and rye.
    • Nose
I think I smell the warehouse. Damp wood and rope. Could be an old ship as well, if it weren't for the moist soil next to it. Some sweetness behind it: Apple, vanilla, pastry and rasperry. The musty first impression (which is not disturbing at all) wears off after a while, but unexpectedly returns when adding water.
    • Taste
Ku lo yuk in sweet & sour sauce. Apple, raspberry and pepper. A little jute and candle wax.
    • Finish
Vanilla, banana, wood and rope. Still that sweet & sour sauce as well.
