    While his nose was still quite fresh and not very old, something quite different is on the tongue. Again, a neat malt, which is a bit einschichtig, but still nice to drink.
    • Nose
      Fresh, bright fruits, citrus notes, some oak.
    • Taste
      Spicy and tingling on the tongue, clearly oak, the fruits have almost no chance to prevail.
    • Finish
      Actually only oak notes.

    • Nose
      Wow, what a beguiling nose. Colorful fruit basket. Multivitamin candies. Lemon zest. In the background, subtle oak flavors.
    • Taste
      Sweet start. Cane sugar. Overripe fruits (banana!). Dried apple slices. Becoming spicier. Pepper. Eichenbitterkeit.
    • Finish
      Long with a nice balance between fruity and bitter notes. Apples. Nuts. Espresso. Toasty aromas.

    I'll tell you right at the beginning: I also got the corkie Nose: dusty mice from the vacuum cleaner, corking white wine. Palate: Gammeleiche, moldy jam, corking white wine, tipped olive oil. Finisch: The longest I have ever had. The next morning I still had the taste of the bamboo oak in my mouth. Conclusion: The first time I just disgusted me, at some point I found him "interesting". If I had been told at a blind tasting, the whisky would be 60 years old, I would have believed it immediately. Speaking of cork: it was absolutely intact. It must be tilted one of the two barrels.

      Fresh, fruity, slightly sour. Yellow apples, lemon zest, mild honey. Sawdust.
    • Taste
      Subtle honey sweetness with a little pepper. Dried apples, pickled pears, unripe banana, hazelnut.

    Nice contrast between the nose, in which he nearly kills one with his fruit sweetness and the taste later on the tongue, where he shows his dark side.
    • Nose
      It attacks directly sweet and fruity. As if you sunk your olfactory bulb in a bag full of wine gums. Could also be the smell in the wind of fluttering freshly washed laundry. Honey and vanilla abound. Very penetrating, very constant in the nose.
    • Taste
      So then on the tongue. Although less intense than in the nose, but also very fruity (red apples, lemon, banana). Then bend in a dry, slightly spicy direction and show almonds and nut flavor. Moist and modern wood comes through, the fruits fade, pepper comes.
    • Finish
      Medium-long, dry, the musty damp wood from the tongue, bitter honey, dark chocolate.

    No. 2 was clearly a Korkschmecker (my 4th meanwhile), the typical note I had recognized immediately when opening the bottle. However, the false note is still quite peaceful and gives the whisky a very interesting touch, from my fellow tasters he was (while I thought of what happened with the bottle) felt pretty yummy and did not survive long. To the "right" (# 1): saulecker again and exactly what I expect from SV / Speysider to the 20J / licked Hogshead: Wonderfully tasty light-sweet fruit bomb for a great price (~ 50 €). Want to have!
    • Nose
      Parallel tasting of two somewhat "different" bottles of this bottling: # 1: intense fresh-fruity fragrant, banana, pineapple gummy, a touch of light honey, a splash of lemon, fresh sawdust - great
      # 2: distinctly bitter, drier, woodier; Banana and pineapple are in the background, but in the foreground old wood, wet cardboard, old shoebox, walnut bitterness ... over time, the fruitiness comes through stronger, but the "other" note remains present
    • Taste
      # 1 overripe banana -> baked banana (strong and clear), then sugar beet syrup, sweet, thick, full bodied, with pepper # 2 dry, woody, wet cardboard, bitter walnut, pepper ... with some time here also jelly banana and beetroot syrup, the walnut cardboard, is pushed aside
    • Finish
      # 1: long, wood, pepper, sticky melange sweetness # 2: ditto, but woodier, more bitter, the walnut cardboard bittern note remains rather penetrating than the last on the tongue present, which makes the change between the whiskys and repeatedly requires water
