    A magnificent Bourbon fruit bomb. Thanks to the older age, the alcohol is very well integrated. Nevertheless, the refill Bourbon barrels have barely given off any bitter / wood / chocolate notes and have promoted the strong fruit flavors.

    • Nose
      88 88
      A nice fruit bomb! Pears and peaches dominate, initially accompanied by white chocolate, vanilla and some freshly sawn wood I can still find, later also a mineral note - like a sweet Riesling. Very good: alcohol is not noticeable.
    • Taste
      88 88
      Sweet, fruity, oily and dense. The alcohol is well integrated and still gives plenty of volume. A little oak flavor and only a very subtle bitterness.
    • Finish
      87 87
      Pretty long, creamy, light fruit, then a little coffee powder and sawdust.

    Absolute PLV-Granate
    • Nose
      Sehr viel Vanille, Saftorangen, Popcorn, Süßholz, leichte Eiche, dahinter gesellt sich eine Kräuternote dazu, Vanillinzucker, irgendwie  wird der immer mehr wie Eierlikör
    • Taste
      Malzige Süße mit schönem Antritt auf der Zunge, leicht britzelig wie Brausepulver aber hauptsächlich cremig, wieder Vanille und Honig, Eichenwürze, die Orangen präsentieren sich nun als Orangenschale 
    • Finish
      Süße Vanille pappt cremig und leicht bitter am Gaumen, ordentliche Wärme und wieder leicht britzelnd

    The aroma is freshly brewed apple jam with caramel and white wine. The taste is bright, sweet and sour, echoing the aroma with the addition of sweet spices and fruit liqueur. Medium-length finish, fruity, apple-caramel.

    The word "tasty" should be used very carefully in reviews, but this whisky can be called delicious, ideal age, very good.

    RATING: 89pts - | 87 - 89 (B +) → Great | - Always nice to have a bottle of this.

    Again a good drinkable SV from the UCF series. Exactly what I expect from such a whisky. This is not a flashy thing now. He does exactly what I imagined.
    • Nose
      In yellow butter glazed apples. Vanilla. Immature pineapple. Some moss. Pear dish. Apricot jam.
    • Taste
      Cotton candy. Fudge. White grapes. Banana. The oak tickles a bit.
    • Finish
      Sugared lime. Vanilla. The oak does not show any particular bitterness, but it only gets a little drier.

    Found in blind tasting so good that he was immediately bought. Excellent PLV. Seems stronger, I typed on a bottling in Decanter.

      Like a full, rich nose. Sherry tones ring through, beautiful stained glass windows form in the glass. With toffee, the nose appears creamy-soft, almost buttery in the best sense
    • Taste
      Very creamy, nice pronounced but subtle sherry sweetness. Comes elegant and complex, extremely creamy in the mouth. The age is noticeable by beautifully interwoven notes, the wood remains rather in the background. Acts stronger than he is, but with well-integrated alcohol.

      Sweet, caramel, oak, vanilla, slightly spicy.
    • Taste
      Malty, honey, vanilla, oak, slightly bitter and slightly dry, orange peel.
    • Finish
      Oak, spicy, the slight bitterness and dryness remain, the orange abrasion develops to the lemon abrasion.

    • Nose
      Strong and sweet. Vanilla. Coconut. Toffee. Cookie dough. Oranges.
    • Taste
      Very creamy in the mouth. Again cream candy. Vanilla. Citrus fruits. Some oak flavor.
    • Finish
      Medium. Vanilla. Coconut. Pecans. Lemon zest. Behind a subtle oak spice.

      Very nice buttery with a sticky nose and brown sugar.
    • Taste
      Nice creamy and again the butter is there. A nice sweetness comes to it.
    • Finish
      Medium long, now comes the oak. Sweet again, with fruit.
