Whisky Reviews for Carsebridge Batch 2 TBWC

- Preis: ca. 270
Sweet cereal, caffee latte, toffee, chocolate biscuits, vanilla and glue are recognizable. The wood is not obtrusive. The flavors change position from time to time and the glue (nail polish remover) is in the foreground. Beautiful
Mild and balanced with a full body - and not a bit tired, which I had feared in the low ABV. This old Grain even tingles something on the tongue. Likörähnlich and creamy, yes even slightly oily, it slides over the tongue and gives off aromas of leather, cappuccino, vanilla, oriental spices, burnt caramel and oranges. From time to time something sour comes out.
Long and spicy - with leather, pepper and tannins - getting dry.
- C: Lovely sweet & neat grain with improved form over batch 1 WB.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Brown sugar caramelising in the pan, butterscotch and a light hint of earthy oak.
Palate: Waxy orange peels, tobacco leaf and salted caramel brownie. A hint dried apricot.
Finish: Toffee apples and a final flourish of cinnamon.
