  1. TsiAI scored this whisky 87 points Expert Senior

Smell: white shells, milk salt soda, rose sea salt, Parmesan cheese, air fresheners are not very irritating, wild flowers, chayote... Wake up, more intense cheese flavor, fine salt, sour fruit. 86.5/100
Taste: slightly salty, salt, lemonade, cheese, melon peel, salt soda, bitterness of citrus peel, shellfish juice, light smoke 87/100
Body: Medium oily body, relatively stretch 87/100
Ending rhyme: long, crackers, bitterness of sea water, oak 86/100
Overall: 86-87/100, the winery gene is obvious, but it has a sense of life, so it suppresses the richness of the milk salt to a certain extent. It will be much better if it is aged for a few years.

The flavor is slightly simple, and it has no advantage compared to the conventional product line of 10yo.
    • Nose
It is basically the same way as the final 10yo 10proof. The main body is the bourbon barrel, and Shirley's participation is not excluded. The outstanding features are the freshness of the seashore, sodium glutamate, sea breeze, oil and grain smell, rope, grain flour, slightly dull compared to the wine age, peat medium, relatively sweet, red plum, strawberry, and papaya. Looking at the Internet, it is said that it is a combination of two or three barrels, so it is not surprising that it is slightly simple.
    • Taste
The fat is higher than the conventional 46.0% abv 10yo, the peat is fuller, the wheat is richer, the saline, the dry cheese, the orange peel, the tail is a little bitter and the fruit is bitter.
Good, good fat, slightly sweet, no acid, no tannin, no astringency, very slightly bitter, no spicy, no alcohol.
    • Finish
      Better, peat, ginkgo, wheat bran.

A wonderful whisky. Quite funky and seemingly off balance because of the 'simple' mixing of two or three casks. But that's exactly the charm of this whisky IMHO.
Extremely drinkable and enjoyable every time. I want to thank my friend Franzman for gifting me this bottle. It will be a special memory of a special bottle for ever :D
It has come to my attention that these kind of bottles will not be made available any more. That makes the memory even more special.

  4. Luigisim scored this whisky 89 points Connoisseur

Surprisingly intense smell and taste for a young whisky
    • Nose
Very sweet. Intense quince, mature ones
    • Taste
Strong and compact, velvet sensations. Peculiar peat, like old ashes
    • Finish
      Long but a bit bitter
