    If you consider the value for money, the standards 100 Proof and 15 yo are preferable as they taste more ripe and rounder; This Benromach is almost a young wild one
    • Nose
      ripe yellow fruits and berries, partly a bit exotic (green apple, some banana and gooseberry), heavy sweetness and a bit sour, light smoke from the wood fire, malt, vanilla, honey, a touch of herbs;
      some paint at first, but it fades away and makes way for something creamier, caramel-like
    • Taste
      heavy and thick (the former impression disappears over time), oak, first sweet, then sharpening, chilli, a little tingling, somehow beer is coming to me
    • Finish
      long; snappy (in the upper oral cavity) and warming, roasted aromas, caramel in the end, almost tingling
