nice whisky for lovers of spicy soft berry notes
a bit playful, pleasant to drink and feel
I'm not a fan of wine finish
luckily there is a lot of spice and malt here I'm missing something the tension
    • Nose
black berries, soft and full, spicy, almost peppery,
Salt, almonds and again black ripe berries,
      no kitchen towel
    • Taste
Berry marzipan, salty mineral, spicy wintery pastry, sweet currants with little acidity
and blackberries, almond, mature wood notes
    • Finish
      medium
      Red wine soaked old wood
Almonds, seasoning, dough, light berry acid, clove ...
tasty, more palate and tongue, little in the throat
At the end comes salt and rich malt

    • Nose
Gorgeous sweet and mild in the nose. Deep fruity. Much red wine flavor but without the tannins.
    • Taste
Intense in the taste but mild on the go. Heavy and dark. Strong caramel. Plums.
    • Finish
      Dry. Long and sweet.

For me, the question arises, whether it is a whisky from the wine barrel, or a wine from the whisky barrel ...
This wine note does not suit me so well with the whisky and is also still very strong.
    83/100
    • Nose
Dry wine aromas with hints of fresh plums and redcurrants and orange peel. Very playful ...
    • Taste
Also on the palate very wine-heavy. Notes of grapes and currants with a good dose of tannins and light peppery spiciness. Astringent.
    • Finish
Extremely dry and slightly bitter towards the end.
