N- Amber and broad with matured breezy sherry notes that also infused with scents of teas, elegant and taking it's own pace for full revelation. Yeasty that translated to dried fruit, apple pie with cinnamon, wild flower with rock candy sweetness. (93/23)

P- Lovely sweetness forefront, oak at spine with initial weird oxidized sherry notes that twisted to endless nuance of bitter fruit peel. Get more oak-y with times that driven away from any sweet spots. (88/22)

F- Long, woody dry and tannin, waxy and profound, but swamp by hefty oak with persistent bitterness. (87/21)

    B/B- 87/21.

    Cereal- 0, Fruity- 2, Floral- 1, Peaty- 0, Feinty- 0, Sulphury- 0, Woody- 3, Winery- 2, Spicy- 1

Weighted Rate- 88pt. (+1 for an old malt)

strong but fine wood notes meet fruit and chocolate, the scent is really irresistible, very elegant drops but also has its price and for every day he would be too round
    • Nose
Oak, old leather jacket, malt, honey, sherry sweet .. when that has set, a wonderfully complex delicate nose comes to light, it reminds me first of vanilla and nectar, cinnamon, spicy oak with light nutmeg notes, delicate fruit I save up Grapes can not identify, but they are seductively delicious, toffee, with the first sip, the nose becomes stronger, a wonderful varied sweet-smelling oak cheek with a few herbs and a fresh acidity
    • Taste
First sweetness and wood and it makes a fruity sherry acid - grape juice with nutmeg, cinnamon and a little anise, bitzelndes wood on the tongue and peppermint on the palate and on the tongue, some chocolate on the finish, it is so salivate stimulating that it already pity is because he is diluted so quickly. Not a trace of alcohol, the woody notes are dry and harsh, but not dominant, are slightly behind the fruitiness and flash only here and there times spicy, accompanied by chocolate or wrapped in toffee, chewing longer on it turns out the Mint as a wood extract out, tingling, dry, dry, slightly hot and cooling the tongue.

Nose: Age but elegant Sherry scent is spreading. You can smell the age of his dripping. In addition to a creamy sweetness of burnt caramel and orange, a vinous acid (sour cherry / plums) with old oak can be identified. The wood evokes associations with orange peel, jasmine tea, mint, marzipan, bitter almond aroma, tobacco and old leather couches. A certain seasoning in the form of the beloved Lovage is also to hear but not superficial. All flavors are interwoven very elegantly, no nuance is really stand out.

Taste: Discreetly sweet, slightly tingling and incredibly delicious spicy and old. The full broadside roasted aromas, walnuts, a pleasant acidity, associations with leather and cigar box, some burnt wood, coffee, dark chocolate and mint. Old sherry keg in perfection. Sweetness and spiciness are perfectly in balance and the finish is long but not as harsh as it would suggest 30 years of maturation. Dark chocolate with orange peel, a bit of spice and bitter almond aroma remain on the tongue for a long time.
Conclusion: The initial taste as well as the taste development in the mouth are for me the highlight of the drop. Intensive but elegant at the same time.
