Well done SV. Very fruity and mouth coating berrylike Glenlivet. Candied fruits and the right amount of sherry in the mix with Glenlivet. Go for it! A bang for the buck!

    Concerning price/performance ratio: 10/10
    • Nose
Sherry and candied fruit, plums, raisins, berries (currant, blackberry). Sweet honey.
    • Taste
Sweet fruity sherry, candied fruit, red fruits, dark fruits, a bunch of berries again, some oak, chocolate, some espresso.
    • Finish
Dark chocolate with sherry and rum, leather, oak.

  3. gallfux did not rate this whisky Expert Senior

As always, these bottlings from Signatory are really good. For the price there is nothing to complain about.
What amazes me is the sharpness. But I do not feel it as unpleasant because I z. B. also like to eat spicy.

But it can also be that I feel that now only spicy, because I tasted a week no whisky more. Something must go into the glass to find out. ;-)
    • Nose
Of course, a lot of sherry. A mixture of sweet and sour. First sweet, ripe cherries and strawberries. Then it gets sourer. Raspberry. Jostabeere. Now raisins covered in chocolate. Then the wood comes through. Nutmeg. Hazelnut.
    • Taste
Much sweeter in the mouth than in the nose. Creamy. Aroniahonig. Datteln. Grape juice. The sweetness decreases. Licorice. Blood orange. Then it gets spicier and the oak tingles neatly on the tongue. It even gets pretty sharp. Chilli. Black pepper. That's why there's a lot of drooling.
    • Finish
The sharpness remains relatively long. Black tea with candy sugar. Leather. Chocolate.
