A fine whisky. If this is what's to come then the future is bright.
    • Nose
Delicate smoke with almonds, dates, plum and figs. There is also something roasted like nuts and something toasted like brown bread. Quite a good mixture and balance, there is nothing in here that  is too overpowering.
    • Taste
The taste is as it should be judging by the nose. Very well balanced and complex. At first you get a nice subtle shot of peat which is followed nicely by some fig, nut and spice. Sometimes it is the other way round. There really is some nice combinations going on here.
    • Finish
A medium finish and a bit dry but that is fine it works well with the spices. There is also some salt on the death.

Promising. It was a sample, but I would buy this.

Empty glass smell of smoky grape juice.
    • Nose
Unique smokieness, not powerfull but robust in some way.

      Dark, almost burnt bread crust.

Sweet dates and some nutty oil that I can't define.

A touch of grapefruit and some crisp pine wood.
    • Taste
Oily arrival, full and boldly smoky body.

Gentle spice. Mixture of sweet dried fruits.

Nutts gradualy going stale (not bad) as it progress into "rich" cardboard notes.
    • Finish
      Medium lenght.

Cardboard coming through more and more as red wine wood now, a little tannic dry.

The 46% alc works well with this, just gives it that extra bonus.
