Whisky Reviews for Aberlour A'bunadh batch #54

fruity after fresh and dried fruit and fruits,
slightly floral, syrupy, sweet, sherry, a little oak
full, strong onset, fiery, tingling and burning on the tongue, sherry, fruity, sweet-tart with oak spice but not bitter, aromatic pipe tobacco brings some tart notes into play.
The 60.2% alcohol heat up properly but also contribute to a very intense taste.
Sweet-tart, warming and engaging with sherry, fruity, oak-tinged, slightly tart, soft and finally fruity-sweetish after sherry and strawberry jam ...
Can be sipped without water.
- Excellent highland single malt. One of my favourite whiskies.
Raisins, plum, chocolate and dark cherries
Chocolate and dark fruits, coffee, needs a lot of water to reach full potential.
Long aftertaste, with raisins, dark fruits, chocolate, cherries
