A very balanced and bright mole with a great taste and smell. Very surprised bacon and fat, I did not think that whisky can contain such tones. At first, I thought it was the smell of bacon or raw pork, but then I realized clearly that it was a classic salted lard without spices. This delighted me! Before that, I drank a few other drams, but only this Lafroug slept all the fruit flies in the house - the sweetness was beating the key (or something else that attracted these insects), although for Ayla this is not so characteristic. In general, the theme of fruit flies and whisky is a separate topic, since this phenomenon is worthy of a separate study :)
    • Nose
Peat, smoke, for the first time I meet a mole, in which you can feel so much fat in the smell!
    • Taste
Burnt boards, medical tones, very salty and at the same time very sweet, honey bacon, slightly overcooked greasy shish kebab.
    • Finish
      Long, bright, smoky, sweet.

Conclusion: 93/100 points - "Amazing". An interesting Laphroaig, no a Laphroaig from the Rum barrel and then even a full-time ripening, no finish at the end for a few months. You do not get something like that in your glass every day. Fruity, well balanced and pretty sweet, but not peaty-wild but elegant and complex. Great whisky, especially with some water! You can buy Kingsbury bottlings from the exclusive distributor for Germany and Europe at www.whiskycorner24.com. Great service, fast delivery and how to get there, unique whiskys. • Nose
Nose: First a bit peat, but atypically restrained, then flavors of tropical fruits to light: mango, unripe banana, passion fruit. A little vanilla and ginger join it. Everything clearly, but subtly peaty underpinned. With some water more sweetness and more fruit.
    • Taste
Palate: In the mouth directly a nice sugarcane sweetness, accompanied by the peat. The alcohol is warming but well integrated. The tropical, fresh fruits are coming again. Very interesting and pretty cute. Easier with a little water, smarter and even sweeter.
    • Finish
Finish: When the fruity flavors fade and the warming alcohol has found its way down, a subtle vanilla-woody note comes to the fore. The whisky sounds sweet and soothing and leaves the need for more. With water the dispenser goes in the direction of honeydew melon and gets even sweeter.
