    Not too bad. In fact, very good. Most of time wonderfully clean and determined by the distillate. I'm a little surprised that the sherry influence doesn't seem to matter at all. Full review (in German): https://keinehalbendrinks.de/2020/01/06/weihnachtstasting-im-turm/

  9. Calmar scored this whisky 89 points Connoisseur

    A good middle-aged peaty mole, smoke and peat are many, but they are not so sharp, softer, polished; everything is harmoniously intertwined, whisky is one-piece, balanced.
    • Nose
      Open, dry, soft smoke, ash, processed dry boards, dry peat, smoked meat, light lemon notes, stone crumbs, lime mortar.
    • Taste
      Powerful, dense, smoke-lemon, peat, charred branches, peppery wave, sweetness, creamy notes, charcoal.
    • Finish
      Smoky-peat, spicy, warming, lemon candied fruit, candy sweetness, orange peel, ginger, light hints of smoked meat and fish, light bitter bitter;
