Intense campfire smoke streams up from my glass. When I close the glass, I perceive a flood of ripe, rather sweet, fruits. The high alcohol content of 59.2% is perfectly integrated - no stinging or strong "cooling" in the nose. The balance of the two columns (smoke & fruit) is in my mind in a fascinating balance. Here, the scale certainly does not become a catapult, as has been the case with many other malts where an aromatic / flavored part was consistently dominant. The smoky-fruity conglomerate I had not yet been able to perceive in this form, which does not necessarily facilitate the identifiability. Black currants, ripe cherries, a touch of orange with vanilla pods and exotic fruits I register.

Surprisingly oily, full mouthfeel, almost with a light creaminess. Very smoky and fruity on the palate. The alcohol is also perfectly integrated here - I do not add any water. As soon as the initially dense smoke of the campfire evaporates, the noticeable vanilla fruit notes in the front of the mouth intensify. I can also identify exotic and ripe red fruits here again. Black currants, a hint of raspberries and oranges flood the palate. Minimal floral, with hints of spicy oak, which still lingers in the background. Harmoniously harmonized.

Very long and balanced. Intense campfire smoke that turns slightly ashy after a few minutes. The fruit notes set a final exclamation point, in constant accompaniment with spicy oak notes, which cause neither dryness nor bitterness. The finish is very complex and warming.
