It's a very enjoyable and complex whisky with several dimensions: is has a raw industrial/dirty side with maritime influences, but it's also sweet at times and fruity with fresh vegetables. Will miss this bottle, it's empty now..
    • Nose
      88 88
Intruiging nose with two sides. It's raw and industrial, with ozone (how streets smell after a summer rain shower), ink, leather and a some peat smoke. On the other hand it's fruity and fresh, with apricot, passion fruit, rhubarb, grapefuit, vanilla, and biscuits or croissants.

Thick and multi-layered. It still has that industrial side of the nose, oily with light peat and leather. It's also maritime now with mineral and salty notes with some seaweed. Fruits and vegetables also emerge like fennel, strawberry, rhubarb, sweet citrus fruits and some vanilla flavoured biscuits too.
    • Finish
      88 88
Rather long and oily with medium dry and ashy peat and and a martime saltiness. Citrus fruits, liquorice root, vanilla, nutmeg, white pepper and a vegetal side.

good powerful whisky, because in the winter it’s good 87, in the summer it’s 85 strong, but in general it’s delicious solid whisky!

    Nose:
Farmy, grassy, dirty mud stable. But behind there is quite some fruitiness.

    Taste:
Sweet and sour, little peppery, the sweetness takes over after a while and stays forever

    Body:
    Silky

    Finish:
Medium-long length. There is quite a strange peatiness here. Which must have come from a cask which contained Ledaig.

    Price:
Around €100,- is very fair priced

    Presentation:
Sober, decent, all the info you need is on the bottle
