Whisky Reviews for Brora 1982 GM
6 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 84.11 points
- It feels like a solid Clynelish but it's not at all magical.
- Quite a simple profile and very sweet for a brora. Not outstanding but still enjoyable.
Smells sweet but also damp wood, hints of lemon and eucalyptus.
Very sweet on sugared candy, pineapple, shortbread biscuit, Turkish delight, with some discreet peat at the finish
Long on hints of pineapple.
- This Bottle has his picture in this article from Serge about Brora, but it was not mentioned in.
- Not really a typical Brora, more starting off like a speyside with a fruity nose and rather little smoke. The fruitiness comes back in the taste but quickly switching over to peaty smoke
