A really interesting dram and a brake form the norm. Would have a bottle so long as the price stays reasonable.
    • Nose
Strong nose, take it slowly. A wonderful massive honey hit, vanilla and cherry as well. Dulls down with water.
    • Taste
Tons of fruit, cherry, black cherry, fruitcake, honey, tea cake, creamy.
    • Finish
      Dry, mixed fruit.

Thanks to karloff for my first Tasmanian.

I thought they all were devils, but this was rather friendly :-)
    • Nose
Very sweet. Fresh cut lime. Quite some vanilla. Think it's the port cask that make up the fruity part, but it's also a bit cereal. As good as any gentle scott to my nose.
    • Taste
White and yellow fruits. Canned fruit cocktail syrup. Light with surprisingly thick mouth feel.

Very little perception of alcohol. Would have been interesting to try this at a higher strength, goes down way too easy as it is.
    • Finish
Not much development, but pleasant fruity sweetness lingers for some time.

When I had the first drink from the bottle, the first thing that it reminded me of was Auchentoshan American Oak, but as I made my way down the bottle I found it had a lot more about it, it also reminded me of Dalwhinnie 15 at times.

This was a very pleasant dram, I heard good things about it, it's nothing original or outstanding but it's solid, the future is bright.
    • Nose
Quite sweet, vanilla, custard, apple pie with lots of sugar, ripe melon, fresh bed sheets, early spring morning in a meadow and buttered toast.
    • Taste
It's very light and refreshing, pear drop sweets, white wine, this really is quite smooth, banana cake, fruit cocktail and butterscotch.
    • Finish
A medium fruity finish with marshmallow on the death.
