A light, soft, delicate and slightly perfumed aroma greeted the Panel and made us think of Shea butter hand cream, talcum powder and coconut sun lotion. With time a sweeter scent of wine gums and midget gems mingled with fizzy lemon sherbet and prawn cocktail crisps. The taste neat had the spiciness of Peruvian Ceviche; chilli pepper, lemon, lime and chopped onion. Water changed the nose to a Cornish cream tea; scones, clotted cream and strawberry jam that neatly carried on with flavours of strawberry cream cake and ginger spiced lime jelly beans in the finish.
