Whisky Reviews for Bushmills 21-year-old
2 users have left a review for this whisky and scored it an average of 85.50 points
- N: Not sure whether i believe this, but i was told by a Bushmills rep that just over 23000 bottles per annum is regarded as small batch. What is true is this is matured in bourbon, oloroso & Madeira casks. On the nose then, oh yes this is very Irish, with a soft sour-mash-putty and a little soft lime.
T: Buttery lime-water is all i wrote for the taste! The Madeira influence is,.. curious.
F: A good travel with a mouthfeel notably equal to the flavours.
C: Very good and very Irish. In relation to the Rosebank WB that followed however, this is fairly sweet and basic by comparison, though the similarities in style were marked.
