N- Sweet crackers sandwiched with thick strawberry cream. Farms full with ripe fruits and nutty almond tea scents that reminded me of Cameron Highland, fresh, cool and breezy, exactly the sort of quality air that promote longevity. Wood phenol blend in nicely with spicy edge for boldness, feel full, elegant, pounded spice with honey, mango and sweet herbs emerged. Gentle, breezy and some mints. (90/22)

P- Tropical fruits, honey, toasted muesli and juicy white raisin with bold woody notes. Rich mouth coat with full blossoming honey take center-stage as the fruits subside. Subtle spiciness and sweet phenol lingers with balanced. (92/23)

F- Medium long, chewy honey and fructose, get more and more highland. Misty, minty and demi sweet spicy. (87/21)

    B/B- 91/22

    Cr-1, Fr-3, Fl-1, Pt-0, Ft-1, Sp-0, Wd-3, Wn-2, Sc-1

A fruit bomb, joint bottled by the only Malaysian independent bottler, Eiling Lim and The Whisky Agency.
    • Nose
      90 90
Abundances of fresh fruits, as it you're walking in the local fruit market in Malaysia. Mango, banana, and more mango, and more banana. It's fresh, and bright, and cheerful. Changes to more fruit cakes after a few sips. More bakery and confectionery. Slight hint of Clylinesh-ness, which I often get from Compass Box.
    • Taste
      91 91
Oily and waxy, and cream sugary. Lovely fruitiness on the palate, which is extremely mouth-watering. Kind of feel like a fresh fruit juice on a hot afternoon.
    • Finish
      90 90
Fresh mixed fruit juices, refreshing and energizing. The fruitiness just faded away elegantly and harmoniously.

    • Taste

More fruit cocktail with lime, grassy, mouth coating oiliness,  green tea, touch of citrus
    • Finish
      94 94
Grass, fruit cocktail, mild hint of pepper, lime

the creamy transition really blew me away. its like mango lassi creaminess topped with passion fruit
    • Nose
Dried mango, waxxy, dried yellow raisins, cured meat, orange liqueur.
    • Taste
Mango, orange, nutty, riped bananas, melon-ish sweetness. Coca.
    • Finish
      medium

Beautiful transition to the finish, cream mangoes orange (this part is where the money is), long soft bitterness with that hints of mangoes. Bitterness is the same bitter when u bite through duku langsat seed.

    https://www.whiskynotes.be/2016/irish-whisky/irish-single-malt-1989-whisky-agency-eiling-lim-vs-emerald-isle/

Irish single malt 27 yo 1989 (45%, The Whisky Agency & Eiling Lim 2016, barrel, 177 btl.)

Nose: classic Limerick style. Passion fruits, mango cake, banana,
papaya. A very fresh fruit salad. Hints of lime blossom. Very subtle
bergamot and slightly greener, minty touches. A fruit bomb that’s all
about freshness and brightness – very seductive. Mouth: more fruit juice
(passion fruits, lime, banana, kiwi) – kind of a summery white wine
feeling. Evolves more towards fruit teas, with a light greenness. More
towards grapefruits as well. Finish: rather long. Never change a winning
horse. A bit more oak now.
This is one of these Irish fruit bombs with lower complexity but
higher sexiness. After all these kind of tropical fruits (à la Bowmore
1968, Caperdonich 1972, Tomatin 1976…) are still a Holy Grail for many
whisky lovers (including the one writing this). Around € 310, a few
bottles left, if I’m not mistaken.
    Score: 92/100
