    Very interesting fruit compote. For 23 years still pretty stormy in taste and finish with this typical for me smoke? -Inch from Inchmurrin. With water really delicious.

    I had this dram first during a blind taste event (Proef Olympics Ledendag 2) as the 7th dram (after the welcome dram), and later on re-evaluated a bit i had left in the sample bottle.
    I liked this one so much, that the day after the first thing i did was to buy a bottle of this one.
    • Nose
      Orchard, some earthy notes, hay, fruity like apples and pears... what... this is quite littlemill like. I like it! with some water more red fruits, like strawberry. Perhaps even some fresh harvested mushrooms?
    • Taste
      flowers and fruit in a wooden basket. tropical taste, as mango and banana, and some citrus notes. Again later on in the mouth some red apples. Also somewhat malty and dry wood on the 2nd evaluation
    • Finish
      Long, succulent and oakish. somewhat wooden bitterness but still a fruity, citrus base taste.

    Blind I estimated him much younger. An interesting malt, but nothing that I need more.
    My first Inchmurrin.
    • Nose
      Red fruits and light clover note. The start is full and brisk, the painting presents itself tight and tingles in the nose.
      After a bit of time, the "red fruit veil" slowly lifts. There is a light smoke note all the time, like in a car that used to be smoked a long time ago. If one wanted to become metaphorical, he would arouse the association of a well-kept, but old, somewhat musty hotel room with lots of wood and carpet.
    • Taste
      Sweet and alcoholic power at the beginning. First, something looks set, a filter that does not come much behind. As I often have with not quite round ripenesses comes the taste of snow that you ate as a child. Barrel / oak is barely noticeable.
      After some time it tastes somewhat herbaceous with red fruits, but depth does not have it. A little soapy at the end.
    • Finish
      Fades away quickly

    Nice age with pleasant fruits and oak in the nose. On the tongue and the finish unfortunately a bit flatter.
    • Nose
      Sweet, malty, fruity, caramel, citrus fruits, tropical fruits, honey, oak spice
    • Taste
      Powerful, spicy, ginger, oak, grapefruit, honey
    • Finish
      spicy, slightly dry and bitter, the ginger sharpness remains on the tongue

    A beautiful malt, pronounced tropical fruity and malty with a beautiful herbal and Waldhonignote! Currently: 88/89
    PLV: 9/10
    • Nose
      Old ripe fruit flavors, oranges, malted malt aroma, tropical fruits, mango, papaya, leather, nut, caramel, butter biscuits, vlt. Candle wax and over time lime, more ripe tropical fruits and spicy forest honey;
    • Taste
      Spicy and strong malty, ripe fruit and old oak with a hint of acidity, clear herbal notes of anise, fennel, cumin and cumin? Delicate accents follow and spicy forest honey throng again;
    • Finish
      Medium long, pronouncedly spicy and slightly dry, beautiful herbal notes and with oak and acid behind;

    • Nose
      pastries, dried spices, a nice fruity. A nice mix of pineapple and chocolates. A dessert, actually
    • Taste
      nice length with a remarkably integrated alcohol. An impressive scale. We find the fruits present on the nose but in more compote. A vegetal touch (chamomile tea and black tea too infused).
    • Finish
      long, always fruity with the malt that takes over with a carpet of spices.

  10. Sandman scored this whisky 84 points Connoisseur

    With a little water, a fresh fruit explosion in the nose and mouth!
    • Nose
      Tropical fruit of melon, banana and pineapple. Vanilla, lemon, tobacco and heather with fresh flowers.
    • Taste
      Tobacco, toffee, lemon peel, grass, malted barley, lots of oak, banana, mango, grapes and grapefruit.
    • Finish
      Long, tropical fruit, lemon zest and toffee
