Big time funky barnyard style as is so typical from Ledaig, but then with old rusty, oil leaking engines. The peat smoke comes across as salty and dirty as can be. There is a bit of rubber in it too. I read another note describing it as pencil eraser, I think that's spot on! Then there is also toast, smoked wood chips and lapsang tea. At the end, a grassy note pops up.

Nicely sour, not too hot, with some room for pineapple, cherry, but certainly the bold peat smoke. It's less oily than on the nose. Apart from that, it's more on coal, and there is a nice note of licorice attached to it. Then, burnt twigs and grass.

The finish doesn't end, it goes on! There is plenty of licorice root, a dash of black pepper, the dirty, farmy and oily peat smoke, and ash.
