- Fruit and oak and honey. Vanilla. Quite lovely and complex.
- A good grain for a reasonable price.
- A nice grain this one for a decent price.
Some grains smell like old blends, this is one of those grains.
Vanilla, cream, pastry, wafer with a hint of honey cough medicine.
The honey comes through with lemon and lots of warm pastry, there is some nice sherbet fizz bit I think some water will open it up but actually when I tried this the water flattened it, DO NOT ADD WATER.
Quite long, sweet & fizzy
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Coffee beans, lightly-toasted oak, Crème brûlée unripe pear and flamed orange peel.
Vanilla-y oak appears first, shortly followed by big handfuls of cacao
nibs and toffee chunks. Drying, earthy clove spiciness develops on the
Finish: The pears from the nose re-emerge, now poached and dusted with cinnamon.
